The PVC Pool Access wheelchair features health care grade PVC pipe and fittings that won’t rust or stain, making it ideal for pool and spa environments. The wheelchair comes equipped with an extendable footrest and a mesh seat upholstered with mould and mildew resistant material suitable for full immersion in water. For safety and accessibility, it includes dual locking brakes and swing-away armrests that allow for easy transfers, while the rear wheels are designed in a non-skid style with user hand rings for independent propulsion. The PVC Pool Access Chair allows users to enjoy the pool without damaging their everyday wheelchair or bringing unclean wheels from outside, as they can transfer to the poolside wheelchair in the changing room. Its water-resistant construction makes it perfect for ramped pool entryways and full submersion in the water.
Available in 18″ (46cm), 21″ (53cm) and 24″ (61cm), with a carrying capacity of 136kg, 159kg and 181kg respectively.
The Suntrap Systems poolside wheelchair has been designed to enable users with impaired mobility to access pool facilities including shower, changing rooms, and poolside. It is especially useful for leisure pool environments.
Manufactured of grade 316 polished stainless steel for strength and durability, the wheelchair is also fitted with brakes for safety, and have hand rims to allow user operation to give independence.
